Babies 92 and 93: Part 1

The birth of the triplets is more difficult than I would have imagined. The baby triplets combined with the older triplets combined with the two sets of twins are just...wow, TOO much! Thankfully, the teens are more than happy to age up and head out with out complain.

We all stand around for the big moment, but at last second Sereana gets cold feet. "Mom...mom! What are all these sparkles? Why are they surrounding me?! Am I DYING!?" Her face is stricken with panic, but I just laugh and shift Gordon to my other arm. "No honey, you're not dying. It's just all part of growing up!" She is still worried, but several moments later she is blossoming and grinning at us.
"Wow, it feels great to be so much older! I feel so much more powerful! Although, I really need to do something about this hideous outfit..." boasts Sereana of her aging-up clothes. "Now that's a must. Now come on sissy, age up and let's move out!" I laugh as Sereana shuffles into my room to find an old outfit that will do, and right at the door she turns around to me.

"Oh, and one more thing mom. Do you mind if we take Thumper to come live with us? He's our favorite!"

I bite my lip and frown. Thumper is apart of the family. He may be a wild, crazy, ridiculous riot, but he's such a lovable companion. Sereana stares at me with full eyes that even I can't resist. I guess I could live with Bambi and Flower.

"Okay..." I slowly say. "Just don't let him run off!"
So here is the NEW and IMPROVED Sereana Anne Lights, complete with a chic hairstyle and a fab outfit. Other than being a crazy riot of a time, Sereana is a very sweet and loving girl. She's never done anything that would harm others, and is always on the lookout for people in need of help. It makes me smile to see my kids grow up so well, and even more so if they go on to become public figures! What a role model!
Candyce has ditched the innocent girl look and gone for something sexy and stylish. Sexy is the new perfect, and she loves to work it! She plans on opening a night club here in Sunset Valley considering how much this town lacks them. She is the life of the party, just as I'm sure her club will be!
Once they're both aged up, it only takes me about two seconds to realize that they are exact replica's of me. We all scrunch up for a close picture of the three of us...wow, just wow! Sereana is a carbon copy of me minus the eyes, and so is Candyce plus the eyes! I've never had children look this much like me, and good timing too, huh? That was on my bucket list of things to do before completing my challenge.
And finally, the third triplet in the group, Clement. He's still bad-boy as ever, but he's toned down his looks a bit. He's going for the Edward Cullen look just in time for the fourth movie, part one of the Twilight series to come out. Go Clement!
Sunday is my favorite day of the week. I love how on Sundays you've gotten all your partying out on Friday and Saturday, and now you're rejuvinated and ready to relax. But as many things are good about Sundays, there's always the negatives. For example, one thing I DON'T like about Sundays is when I have to face the mess that has been accumulating all week...yeah, that's never fun.

"Kids!" I shout. "Get up and help me clean up this mess, you've got chores to do!" It's 9 AM and the kids should be up anyways, so I go ahead and shout for them. Thankfully they come to help with no complaint before I lose too much hair over this.
Mario takes a little longer than his sister to wake up, so for a good half hour or so it's just me and Kenza on cleaning patrol. She re-fills the dog bowls and I clean up the animal toys; two months ago I didn't have to deal with this kind of stuff.
Once the sleepy-head Mario gets up, he gets a start on his chores. He does all the dishes and dries the plates that were in the dishwasher, which believe me, is no easy task. Our dishwasher makes this weird creaking sound as if one wrong move and the entire thing will collapse whenever we open and close it. Mario does the dishes slowly and closes the washer very slowly, watching his every move at the end.

"Good washer, good, good washer..." he chuckles.
Since Kenza loves all things related to pets, her individual chore is to clean and put food in the bird cage. It seems that lately I've been stuck with the mammoth task of cleaning the cages and filling the bowls, so I'm obviously thrilled when she steps up and does this for me; gotta love kids.
And me, well...I get stuck with cleaning the bathrooms! I'm not usually scared or grossed out by these things though. After having 91 children, and not even having a father figure around to help with things like this, you grow used to it. I mean, it would be nice to have someone around to do stuff like this, but that may not be in the cards for me at the moment.
An hour or so, the house is clean! There is a sparkly, sleek look to everything in the house (especially the new table I put in the kitchen rather than our old wooden one) and every smells of Pine Sol- pure, everglade Pine Sol! We all sit down to a neat breakfast of cereal and fruit and talk about what we could possibly do today. Number one on the list for all of us is to age up the newborns. All my younger kids have always enjoyed meeting their new siblings and playing with them. There's not much they can do with a newborn.
We decide to age all the babies up and then head outside for a day of fun in the sun, so, we do! Here are all three beautiful berry babies as wonderful tottling tots. Justine is the crazy and silly one of the group, Gordon is the peace maker, and Bertha just does her own thing. She loves to smile and laugh like her siblings but is less loud about it. Sometimes I can appreciate that.
After they are grown, we all feel a little bit better and celebrate with some hardcore slip-n-slidin'! I don't make it into quite many photo's except the second which features my legs. I was standing there when Mario almost ran into me coming down the slide! Kenza laughed the entire day and Mario and her and myself had a grand old time.
Mid-day, while the kids are still playing in the water, I take a short break to play with the babies a bit. Just as I'm putting sweet little Justine on the spring-rider a surprise guest shows up...James!!
His head peaks over the side of the house just as Justine is getting into the ride, and I don't have the heart to take her off. So instead James just grins like a fool with his arms crossed while my baby girl gives him weird looks and laughs. James doesn't say a word, but the smile on his face is enough to make me start cracking up. A few moments later the ride comes to an end. I pull Justine up and off from the ride and James watches my every move the entire process. I set Justine on the ground, and grabs James hand. I lead him inside and shout to the kids to watch the babies.
I bring him into my bedroom, lock the door for some privacy, and throw on some clothes I was wearing earlier in the day. I don't even mind changing in front of him, and I don't hesitate to shed my suit and slip on my tank top and sweatpants.

Once all my clothes are securely on and my glasses on my face, I turn around and James is still smiling. My heart leaps out of my chest and I can't even help running and jumping right into his arms.

"Woah!" laughs James, as he maneuvers his arms to catch me perfectly. "When did you get so hyper to see me? I've never seen you like this!"
"I'm just happy to see you," I cry out in joy.

"You're definitely more than happy," he laughs again.

"You're right," I reply. "I'm thrilled to see you. I'm thrilled to be in your arms and-did you grow out your natural hair again?" I ask, completely off topic. I grasp his curly black locks in my palm, soaking it all in. He's only been gone for nearly a month, which is really nothing at all. I guess it wasn't until he went away that I finally realized how much I really do love him.
"Yes, I did." he replies. James nuzzles his chin in my neck and kisses me. One kiss, two kiss, three kiss-he goes all the way up my neck until he reaches my lips. He places me on the floor with ease and traces the outlines of my lips with this tip of his index finger. Chills run through my body as his soft finger tip brushes every outline and crevice on my lips. "I missed these too," he smiles.
He pulls himself into an inch from my face, and I just laugh and pull him into me. When we kiss, it's like nothing ever before. I kiss him with longing and passion, while he is very delicate with touching me like this. He's always been a very delicate kisser unlike ANY other thing about him, and it's one of the things I love best about him. But it's almost like a new person when I kiss him. Maybe two bad relationships makes one really good one now? Third times the charm, I guess.
It's actually kind of ridiculous, how difficult it is for us to keep our hands off of one another. He grabs my hands and pulls me in close for a short kiss. When he pulls back out, he puts on a more serious look.

"I want to take you to dinner tonight," he declares.

"Okay, I'm in."

"Wait, that's it? I don't have to beg?"

"Why would you have to beg?" I laugh, fake-slapping him.

"Because you are yourself, duh." When he says "duh" he tries to make himself sound like a stereotypical high school girl and it makes me burst out laughing.
I put my hands back on his shoulders and lean into him. He smells of cheap detergent from the dollar store, spilled coffee, and ever since he stepped foot in my house-PINE SOL. I chuckle to myself and pull away from his chest.

"What are you laughing about?" he smiles, playing with the tips of my hair. "And when did you get a haircut?"

"Well for your first question...I don't know. I am just so freaking happy to be here, with you, right now. And for the second, yes I did. Do you like it? You don't think it makes me look too sloppy?"

"No," he says. "I think it makes you look more like yourself; the Amber who could care less to look good but only does it to impress people she likes...speaking of, will you dress up tonight? I was thinking we could go to dinner...or something."

"Sure," I grin.
"You know, your enthusiasm is contagious."

"I sure hope so," I reply. "I haven't been this excited in a long time."

"Well I'm obviously not the only reason you're so excited, so please explain to me; why are you so freaking happy right now?"

"Honestly, it's only you. I love you so much. I'm so glad you're back!" I jump in for another hug, and he just laughs.

"You're the craziest woman I've ever met!"
James tells me to be ready at 7 o' clock and no later. Since it's 4:30 now he claims he's going to go home, get unpacked, and settle in a bit then come to get me. In that amount of time, I'll definitely be picking out an outfit to wear.

I call up Vanessa not even two seconds after James walks out the door. "Vanessa, we have a major crisis on our hands," I vent to my best friend.

"Oh dear sim god, it's something new everyday with you!" she laughs and then continues, "So what's the deal?"

"Well, James just got bac-"

"-YES!"

"Vanessa, you really need to learn to control your crush on my boyfriend," I laugh. "But anyway, yes, he's home...and he wants to take me to dinner tonight? Um, hello?! I only have two hours to figure out what to wear!"

"Well, just calm down a bit and we can figure something out! But I am busy moving into the new house at the moment and it would be a sin for me to leave this gorgeous home, so just put me on speaker and I'll talk you through this." Thank god for best friends!
Two hours and thirty outfit changes later I actually am ready to go out. I don't know how gussied up I'm supposed to be, so I go with a simple black dress and pumps. I know he expressed how much he loves me natural hair earlier, but just to make myself feel good I straighten my locks and put on some darker makeup than usual. I love looking like this.

At last minute I go crazy checking myself in the mirror, but the sound of three sharp knocks on the front door is enough to get my heart thumping. Sure, I saw him only a few hours ago-but that doesn't mean I didn't miss him.
"Amber!" grins James when he sees me. He looks me up and down, from head to toe. "...wow," he mutters.

"Wow good or wow bad?" I ask. "Because if I really look that bad I wil-"

"Wow good; I think you look absolutely stunning Amber. I don't think I've ever seen a more beautiful sim."

"Aw, James..." I blush. I don't know why he's being so nice, but it doesn't mean I don't appreciate it. "Thank you so much."

"No problem," he grins, reaching his slender arm behind his back.

"Hey, what're yo-"
A few white petals peek out from behind his back and I almost burst out crying. I honestly can't remember the last time someone got me flowers and treated me this much like a lady. It's so...sweet.
"These are for you," says James. "I got the white ones because I know you love light colors. I hope you like them."
"James..." I mutter, smelling the sweet, sweet flowers. They smell more perfect than anything else I've ever smelt and the whole entire thing causes a tear to drop down my face. "James, these are perfect. I love them. I love you."

"Don't cry, Amber..." he chuckles, wiping the tear. "Why don't you put down the flowers and we can go out?"

"That sounds amazing," I manage to get out.
I had been expecting to be going to the bistro or the diner or something, so I'm surprised when James takes me to the beach. But I love the beach, so I actually love that he takes me here.

He walks me down, his hand clasped tightly around mine, to the shallow waters of the tide. He removes his hand from mine, placing it softly on my cheek. "I wasn't lying before," says James.

"Lying about what?"

"When I said you were the most beautiful sim I've ever seen, I wasn't lying. You are beautiful, inside and out Amber. Everything about you is perfect."

"Well I wouldn't use the word perfect, but thanks baby...what's the occasion?"

"Well, I have something to ask you...more like a proposal."
"Wh-wh-what?" I stutter.

"Well, not exactly a proposal," he laughs. "Just an idea."

"Oh," I breathe. "Okay, shoot."

"Well when I was in Apaloosa Plains, I had pretty much the best time of my life. I met some amazing people, I got some serious cash from modeling, and I really loved the atmosphere of the town. It was just amazing."

"Yeah...."

"And," he continues, "While there I got to check out some real estate and invest my money in some things. Well, I did invest. In real estate."

I put the pieces together. "Wait, are you saying that-"

"That I bought a two floor town home with five acres of a land and three bedrooms? Maybe."

"Oh my god, James!" I squeal. "That sounds amazing! But what do you mean by maybe?"
"Well, I'm only moving in if you want to...move in...with me."

"Oh," I say. "Well James, I still have my challenge to complete. And don't you think it would make more sense if we were married before moving in together? I mean, that's a really big step and-"

"Yeah, that's the other thing." James interrupts. He shuffles from his standing position to a kneeling one on the sand.
"Amber, when I first met you I remember thinking, 'Wow, what a beautiful woman.'. I didn't think I would ever have a chance, in fact I knew I would never have a chance with you. The way you carried yourself, the way you knew what you wanted, and the way you smiled at me when you first saw me just made me go insane. Never before I met you did I ever even think half of that of a woman."

"James..." I mutter, too stunned to say more.

"And then there was my uncle who screwed things over so bad for me. You know, I haven't talked to him ever since he put up those pictures that you didn't want of us together. I knew you were upset because of your breakup with your other boyfriend and it pained me to see you so upset. And then after that was our odd relationship. I wanted you so bad, and the funny part is, I don't think you ever had one clue I did."
"But now," he continues, fishing around in his back pocket, "we're together. I've never been happier than I have been with you. Knowing that I could see your smile every day, and the fact that you were all of a sudden one call away made me go crazy. It wasn't until I started dating you that I finally felt like myself, and was able to be grounded at least a little bit. You're just...words can't even explain Amber. The feelings I have for you are probably feelings I could never feel for anyone else."
James finally pulls something from his back pocket- a ring box. "And now, standing on this beach with you, I know for certain that I want to feel that with you forever. The way you embraced me today was just the icing on the cake. It reassured me about how I felt about doing this, and it gave me that extra push I needed to do this. So now, here I am, on the beach with you, about to ask the most important thing in my life. And I hope to god you say yes."
"Amber...." he trails off. "Will you marry me?"
"Oh my god, oh my god, OH MY GOD JAMES!" I squeal. "I don't-I can't even-"

"Yes or no?" he asks.

"YES!" I burst. "Yes, of course, yes! Yes, yes, YES! I want to marry you! James, oh my goodness!!!"

"Thank god," he breathes out a sigh of relief. "I imagined that going wrong in so many ways!"
The ring is just...I can't even describe it. It had to have cost him a fortune and a half, yet he doesn't even care about the price. While he's slipping it on my sacred ring finger on my left hand, I almost faint. No joke. Everything is just too much, getting engaged was simply the last thing on my mind yet...I love it.
"James!" I cry out. He opens his arms wide for a hug, a grin from ear to ear on his face. I don't even think when I run into his arms for a hug. All the perfectness of the evening just adds up and I lean into his chest ad burst out crying.

"Amber, please don't say I did something wrong," laughs James. "Two seconds as a fiance and I already did something wrong!"

"No, no! You did absolutely nothing wrong," I say, nuzzling more into his chest. "You're doing everything perfect...I'm just so lucky to have you." Before I can say more I am overcome by even more sobs, and then even more after that. Eventually James carries me to the car and drives me back to my house.
And later when we get home, well...we do what newlyweds should do! We collapse on to my bed almost as soon as we get back, and I demand that he sleep over. It wasn't long until clothes were shed, and then kissing followed by, erm, other things. We spend the rest of the night in each others arms, and once we're finally too tired to go on, we just lie there. He lies on his back, and I lay with half my body over his chest. As were both falling asleep I roll over and whisper, "James, guess what?"

"What?" he laughs, stroking my hair.

"We're getting married," I whisper.
