May Update

Hey to all of my loyal and fabulous fans! I want to stop in and say a few words about the progress of my challenge for any of my readers to see, not just the ones on facebook.

I haven't been updating my blog as much as I hope to. Sports, school, and family eat up any form of free time I have. I love playing and writing but sometimes Sims will have to take a backseat to my real life activities. My plan is to have a baby 50 post up within the next week and then take some time off of the challenge. Perhaps just a week or so, I want to get to play the new expansion pack (Generations) without the pressure of blogging-basically, I want to enjoy Sims again. I love my challenge but I don't know how many other writers put pressure on themselves. All I can ever think is "Must update, must update, must play!!" and when I have some free time I simply don't want to.
By no means am I giving up my challenge but all of this stress calls for the most miniscule of breaks. If you want to keep up with me more often please do friend me on facebook. I update there often so it may provide some insight for you all. I apologize if this is a confusing few paragraphs but I have a lot that I've been wanting to say and trying to organize it is a huge hassle-plus, I'm still half asleep as I write this (very professional, right? :P). This weekend I am busy as I'm sure you will be also-happy memorial weekend!! Enjoy your long weekend and relax-we all need to as we come closer and closer to summer! Thanks for reading, understanding, and staying with me as I progress slowly but surely through this challenge-I love you all!

Feel free to comment gift me on the Sims 3 Page, it's spring and I'm feeling like change!

  1. I understand how you feel. I sometimes take a break from my challenge. It feels good to just play for fun and not have to stop and take pictures and blog about them. School has taken a lot of my time too. I can't wait for summer!

  2. Yeah, usually while playing the Callum household I'll switch households because I get reeeeaaally bored. Take your well deserved break, drink a smoothie, do yoga, go to Disneyland, do whatever do de-stress you ;)

  4. Hey Amber! I know how you feel, i feel pressured into writing sometimes, especially with having 2 blogs. Sometimes aswell it means my posts are not as good as i feel rushed into making them. Relax and enjoy your free time! A better quality post is better than more, rushed postsby far! ;)

  5. I definatly understand how you feel. I'm known for my breaks and now I'm back to posting again and I'm sure after a break you'll feel refreshed and ready to write again. I know I did! You've done an amazing job so far and definatly deserve a rest. Enjoy it!

  6. Ambs! Okay I love you.

Just had to say. Anyway, you think that's bad? Gee, I have 1 post a month for the past three months! I know exactly how you feel. Tell yourself: Sims is for fun. I don't have to blog if I don't want to. I don't have to play Amber if I don't want to. Anyway, your still AMAZING. And people who are loyal enough can wait. :D If they can't and they don't care about your real life, then well, I don't know. They can go fall in a REALLY big mud puddle. okay? okay.
    Love you still,

    Skye. <3
